What kind of Programming does TriCon have?

TriCon will offer a diverse slate of lectures, workshops, panels, readings, pitch sessions, blue pencil sessions, and more! Sessions will be booked continuously from 1pm-5pm on Friday, 8am-5pm on Saturday, and 8am-1pm on Sunday over several different rooms, with after-hours and satellite events planned as well.

How do I participate in Programming?

All attendees will be given the opportunity to participate as presenters, panelists, or students in programming according to their interests and expertise. You will express your interest during registration, and over the course of the following months, our Programming team will develop a schedule that incorporates and accommodates attendees to the best of their ability. Formal invitations to participate in individual programming items will be issued in the late winter/early spring 2026.

Can I suggest Programming?

Absolutely! We will open solicitation for panel ideas and other potential events over the winter. We cannot take every suggestion, but we strongly encourage anyone with particular expertise or experience to pitch events that can enrich all our attendees!

Do I have to participate in Programming to attend TriCon?

Nope! You are welcome to attend simply to listen and learn. We will have a full slate of great topics, fascinating speakers, and educational opportunities to soak up.

Do I have to be a writer to attend TriCon?

No! Although our focus is in providing enrichment and resources for writers at all stages of their writing careers, anyone is welcome to attend and participate! We encourage other creatives, academics, students, and just plain folks to bring your energy, ideas, and presence.
